Stories From the Wild Woman

Stories From the Wild Woman was my Graphic Design graduation project.

It was a visual experiment based on the book “Women Who Run With The Wolves”, by psychoanalyst Clarissa Pinkola Estés.

Through experimental illustration and design, it brings a selection of seven folk tales originally told and analysed by Estés, all related to the Wild Woman archetype.

More than 40 illustrations were printed on tracing paper, creating layers of movement and meaning to the stories.
Cover is made in screenprinted raw leather and assembled in handmade japanese binding.
